Doug Fleegle
Executive Director
As Executive Director of Park Place of Elmhurst, I oversee the community’s daily operations while ensuring residents receive an exceptional experience and the highest quality of service. With decades of leadership experience in senior living, I have guided several respected Life Plan Communities across the country, including Beacon Hill in Lombard, Illinois, Las Ventanas, Nevada’s only Life Plan Community and Village on the Green in Longwood, Florida.
Before joining Park Place, I served as Vice President of Mission Preservation for Westminster Communities of Florida, where I led strategic initiatives, developed community management services and built key partnerships. I also held leadership roles with Asbury Communities as Vice President of Mission Expansion and President of The Asbury Group, and previously served as President and CEO of United Church Homes and Services in North Carolina.
I earned a Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University, an MBA from Saint Francis University and an Executive Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Saint Francis University. I am also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Adult Care Administrator, Personal Care Home Administrator and Assisted Living Administrator.
A Team That Knows the Community
Beyond leadership, Park Place is shaped by a dedicated team across dining, wellness, administration and resident services. Collaboration across departments helps ensure daily operations run smoothly and thoughtfully.
This consistency allows relationships to develop naturally, so questions are welcomed, communication is clear and people feel heard rather than managed.
